So I tend to wander away and forget things... Like this blog.


Here's some of what I've been up to ...

This fall has brought a family portrait session, an engagement shoot, a myspace portrait session, a senior session, and a Halloween hayride. I'll have to post photos of those soon. :)

Little Model

Another awesome Sunday shoot with another awesome model. The rain almost put a damper on my day but God dragged the sun out of bed for a few minutes.




This girl *loves* the camera. She's more comfortable in front if it than my own kids.

Sneak Peek

Sundays always feel so laid back and fun- it's becoming my favorite day to shoot. The weather was hot, but beautiful. I was looking forward to my session today with three adorable kids at the park. These guys were awesome little models with the prettiest eyes. I just had to post a quick peek. :)

My nephew Dyllan came into the world on May 20th and my sister was awesome enough to let me get some photos :) He's too adorable!

Dang, We're Cool

My sister and I have a weird relationship. It consists mostly of us acting like a pair of dolts. So for the sake of preserving doltish memories ( and to really, really anger my younger sister ^_^ ) I'm collecting our stupidity into lovely, public displays. Come! First Post Survey!

Since I plan on rambling here a lot, I suppose I should provide some sort of introduction. The thing is... I'm terrible at those. So here's a survey instead.

Never in my life have I:
Joined the circus, set my hair on fire, or witnessed anything without my mind instantly figuring out how I would describe it on paper.


My high school is/was: ridiculous.

When I'm nervous: I can't make eye contact. Or sit still. Or breathe.

My hair is: in need of split end repair.

Last Christmas: was a big spoil fest for my two daughters. They have way too many adoring relatives.

When I look down I see: my sexy skull pajama pants.

If I were a character on 'Friends' I'd be: a weird Chandler-Phoebe hybrid.

By this time next year: I'll have a kid ready for third grade, another one over two years.
How freaking weird is that?


I have a hard time understanding: people who enjoy being mean, the appeal of American Idol, and math in general.

I want to buy: books, shoes for me and the girls, and a terra pass for my car.


Where do you plan to visit: New Orleans, New Mexico again, Ireland, India, Australia, and Canada...just because I really dig Canadians in general.

If you spent the night at my house: I'd probaby hit you with my bat.
What the hell are you doing at my house?

Most recent thing I've bought myself: my guilty pleasure vampire novel.

Most recent thing someone else bought me: my niece bought me rocking earrings!

My middle name is: old.

In the morning I: get up at 6 and run screaming through the house to get myself dressed, get the kids stuff packed, wake the children, and prod their butts through the door.

Last night I was: zonked out on the couch early. All my excitement about not having work in the morning was wasted.

There's this guy I know who: is snoring in bed. He changed my completely life in one month.

If I was an animal I'd be a: a big cat. Panther, maybe.
Or my spirit animal, a hawk.

A better name for me would be: Something a hell of a lot more unique than Megan. Ugh.

Tomorrow I am: waking up, attempting yoga, and aiming for some sort of adventure. I'll let you know when I come up with something.
