Product Spotlight- Mini Accordion Albums

A little something new for the blog. Every now and then, I will be sharing a bit of info on a different product. Right now, I want to show off one of my favorite add on items.

Mini Accordion Albums!

They're small (wallet-sized or square), cute, and have magnetic covers that hold them closed or even hold them up on the fridge. They make great brag books or really unique newborn announcements or invitations. They come in a set of three with a photo cover, or choose from a wide selection of fabric covers. First set of three is $30.00. Additional sets- $15.00

Summer Sunsets

The last few days the weather has been FANTASTIC. The girls and I have taken full advantage of the loveliness with daily walks. ... I may have brought my camera.
We popped a couple bowls of popcorn and camped out in the back yard to watch the meteor shower on Saturday. Then we wandered about the cornfields some more on Sunday, in search of awesome sunsets and adventures.

MINI SESSIONS

I am in the mood for MINI SESSIONS!

What are they? They are compact, fun sessions. Instead of 1-2 hours, they are only 20 minutes long with 5 to 10 finished images.
These are perfect way to capture the kids before school starts up again, to make a memory of the last summer before they start school, or to get some fun new lifestyle portraits of yourself!

If enough people are interested, we can set up a weekend in the park for sessions. Or, until the end of August, schedule a private mini session at your home for a more personal touch.

Details:

Time: 20 minutes for 1-4 people.
(Book a double session for more children/family members or if you want a little extra time)
Cost: $50 ($25 to save your spot and $25 the day of the session)
Included: 16 wallets (2 sheets- 1 pose each sheet, your choice) and 5-10 watermarked images ready for Facebook

All products (prints, metals, canvas, jewelry, albums etc) will be available to purchase as well.

Note: These sessions are *not* suited for outfit changes, multiple backgrounds, or a lot of poses. Try a full session for more of those options :)

Vacation!

Just wrapping up the last day of our Texas "adventure", as my youngest calls it. The kids have had a blast and the husband and I have really enjoyed the break from reality.

Also... WE GOT TO PET GIRAFFES!

Just a quick cell phone shot for now. I'll have all sorts of photos to share when we get home.

Enjoy your weekend!

Cuddly Baby Goodness

On Sunday my goofy sister (love you!) and I got to spend the afternoon with this giggling ball of adorable.

Just check out those dimples!

Despite the crazy heat wave, we had a blast. He. Was. Perfect.

His dad did okay, too. :)

Just a Moment

Often, the moments worth remembering aren't full of proper poses and perfect smiles. Memories, the good ones, are raw, honest, and free.

My girls were dancing in the fading sunlight today. The moment was brief, silly, and utterly wonderful.

Cherish your moments.

Days Off

Just a quick share from my day off. My youngest, the dog, and I spent the morning traveling about in search of the lovely and interesting.

What we've been up to lately...

Onion blooms are lovely. Ours are GIANT this year, too.

Sharing a little something

A whole lot of busy, busy has been going on this month. The Girls Night boudoir party is this weekend! The hair stylist and make up artist are both ready to go. The hotel suite is fabulous. The wine... Oh, yes! The wine is waiting, all delicious in the bottles. Let's just say I'm pretty excited.

But still, the girls and I took a few moments from our busy day for another random photo shoot.

Little Devi is always up for posing. In fact, I'm not allowed to direct her at all. She tells me when to take the photo and then has to see the back of the camera to approve. Here are a couple of the shots she found worthy.

Happy New Year!

We got rid of the old year and welcomed in the shiny, happy, new one. During all the mess and craziness, I haven't picked another theme. Or much of anything else.

So this week's theme (and, okay, part of last week's, too, since I dropped the ball on the food shots) is diptychs and triptychs. Woooot!

Day 16 (Up there^) was the result of taking two hyper monsters on a walk on what looks like that last nice day of the season... and the last day of 2011.

Day 17 on the other hand, is pure nonsense. We did diva portraits. My oldest took right to it. *eye rolling goes here*
Credit also goes to her for snapping the shot of me. She loves to be behind the camera almost as much as she loves being in front.

And Day 18, in celebration of the first snow of the year. Of course, we all got cold and ran inside after about 8 minutes.

New year, new start, new projects- I'm looking forward to it. Hope you have a happy new year as well.
